First story:
Ariel Castro is dead.
The Cleveland man convicted of kidnapping three women, holding them for nearly a decade, repeatedly sexually assaulting them … apparently committed suicide.
The 53 year old was found hanging in his cell last night; prison medical staff attempted life-saving measures, but about an hour later, he was pronounced dead.
August 1, the former bus driver had been sentenced to life in prison … plus 1,000 years.
So, he is free from jail, but is he free from hell?

Second story:
Nidal Hasan was forcibly shaved.
The former Army psychiatrist was convicted in the Fort Hood shooting rampage and sentenced to death.
After the November 2009 massacre that left 13 dead and 30 wounded, Hasan began growing a beard claiming his Muslim faith required it.
The original military judge presiding over the court-martial ordered Hasan be clean-shaven before his trial as required by Army regulations; Hasan challenged that rule and that simple dispute lead to at least 3 months of delays in the trial.
Well, now, Hasan is an inmate at the U.S. Detention Barracks at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., home to the military death row.
The Army says that Hasan had been forcibly clean shaven.
Good.
And no one should ever refer to him as “Major” again.
He was court-martialed, stripped of rank, given a dishonorable discharge and will receive no money, sentenced to death … and until that day, will be forcibly shaved over and over as needed.
