Our forefathers left England to get away from kings, but now many believe that President Obama is trying to destroy our country by ignoring our Constitution.

Wait! Before you start saying that’s a viewpoint shared only by Republicans, Conservatives, Tea Party Members … read the following.

Liberal Constitutional Professor Jonathan Turley (George Washington) told Megan Kelly of Fox News, “You have a president who’s claiming the right to basically re-write, or ignore, or negate federal laws. That’s a very dangerous thing.”

Professor Turley admits he is an Obama support as he also said,”I happen to agree with many of President Obama’s policies …”

Still, he also said, “I’m afraid this is beginning to border on a cult of personality for people on the left.”

Bam!!!

Turley nailed it.

He articulated what Conservatives have been saying.

He underscored the fact that every time King Obama is questioned … opponents are charged with racism — when all they are doing is challenging on political or more importantly, Constitutional grounds.

Turley describes Obama’s actions as “… quite serious because the framers created a system that was designed to avoid one principle thing, that is the concentration of power in any one branch …”

He went on to say, “I think that we’ve become a nation of enablers. We are turning a blind eye to a fundamental change in our system.”

On that point, he is partly right, but also very wrong.

MANY … are enabling this President and turning a blind eye while they stretch out their hands for freebies and being named ambassadors and whatever largesse they can get from King Obama.

Others are fighting back and trying to get their voices heard in a world controlled by the enabling media giants.

Then, there are those who simply ignore what is happening, convinced that all of this is nothing more than background noise in their dailylives.

This Liberal Professor has a dire prediction for such apathy … and let his words be my closing remarks on this post and let his words ring loud and clear:

“I think that many people will look back at this period in history and see nothing but confusion as to why people remained so silent when the president asserted these types of unilateral actions.”
